T'ra for a bit! I am taking a much needed break t T'ra for a bit! I am taking a much needed break to spend some time with my family and enjoy the precious school Summer holidays. There won't be many of these left with my children so every holiday counts. We will be celebrating birthdays, eating nice food, lazing in the sunshine and giggling lots. ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฅฐ I am going to take a social media break too. 'Do we need an order of service for our wedding?' 'Do we need an order of service for our wedding?' (Pssst - save this post ๐Ÿ˜‰) If you are getting married in a Church, then yes you do. Why? The order of service will contain all of the information required for your guests to follow the marriage service. There will be points in the ceremony where your guests will need to respond and join in. There will also be hymns which guests may not know so providing the wording is very important (no panicked fumbling through hymn books). ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿคญ There will probably be prayers to recite too. Not everybody will know the words to these either! ๐Ÿ˜‰ You may have readings during your ceremony, often read by family or close friends. Tell your guests who the reader is to make them feel even more special. ๐Ÿฅฐ As well as being handy and informative for your guests, orders of service are a lovely keep sake too. If not, this is my advice. ๐Ÿ‘‡ 10 months before the day... Start your research. You have probably decided on your theme and colour scheme for the day so you can now start to research the different styles of invitations available. 9 months.... Find your perfect wedding stationer (me of course! ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿฅฐ) Seriously though, check them out before booking any wedding supplier. Look at their style to see if they fit, but very importantly, read their reviews. 8 months..... Book and order! If this all sounds a bit early, remember most wedding stationers, like me, work alone and can only fulfil so many orders. Diaries fill up very quickly especially over the Summer months.
